Online Safeguarding Course

Protocol Education are proud to be able to offer this training in partnership with EduCare.

Child Protection in Education is an online course which offers you the flexibility of completing the training from the comfort of your own home.

The programme is endorsed by Kidscape, Family Lives and 4Children and was written to raise your awareness of abuse and neglect, help you to recognise early signs that might indicate a problem, and show you how to take appropriate action.

This course delivers 5 CPD hours and is a level 2 (as graded against nationally accepted levels for training programmes). The programme covers:

  • what forms child abuse can take and the effects it can have
  • signs that may mean a child is suffering abuse and how to respond if a child confides in you
  • the process for reporting abuse
  • the child protection system
  • good practice guidelines

The programme is offered to Protocol Education candidates at a discounted rate of £20 and you are issued with a certificate upon successful completion.
